Only a little. (Hey, it's my one shot.) Moreso, I was trying to create trouble. But alas, with the live PCLB coverage, these kind of posts are now moot.

A lot of the archived stuff will be retrieved (in particular the review forum threads). Matt H has a full backup from June & I have some cached data from more recent posts. I doubt every last post will be saved but most of it is there.

Sadly post counts are unlikely to survive the transition. Sad

I have now instigated a weekly backup policy (Unitedhosting let me automatically FTP it to another server Smile ) which will mean this never happens again in future.

No, it's not my job. I was doing it because of the ridiculousness of it... Having a top-ten PCLB when there were only 6 people registered (7 if you count Fenwar twice) and most people only had 1 or 2 posts - It's just being silly. (And admittedly, there was a little bit of me that liked being in the number 2 spot... only because I knew I'd never be there again.) No, I don't think people should really care about their post count. Post quality should be more important than post quantity.

As far as being DTs are concerned - I'm sure things will be straightened out over time. We lost the whole site and are trying to get as much back as possible, but it takes time. I'm sure as we go along, some of the other forums will be re-introduced.

Well, when Fenney gets to it, DTs will reappear. He's got quite a few things he's working on with these forums.
