Hi, I'm new here! Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I cannot find it.
I downloaded the Dark Tide levels and would like to play them. What do I need to do?
BTW, I already installed the level editor (WDFUSE32).
Thank you for your help!

Hey welcome to the site. I learned a lot of this stuff not too long ago as well.
Anyway, to play these add on levels, just store the downloaded files in your dark forces directory.
Since you said you downloaded the Dark Tide levels for instance, to play Dark Tide 1, after you downloaded it, unzip it, and store the contents (the .gob, bat, lfd, and text files) -everything necessary to run the level- in your Dark Forces directory. (C:\DARK) or whatever yours is. Then you just double click the bat file and you should be good to go.
Just to keep add on levels organized I create a folder for a specific level and download it there. When I want to play it, I just move the necessary files to my Dark directory. It keeps things much neater that way, instead of having TONS of files in my DARK directory.
Hope this helps!

If you have Windows NT/2000/XP there are additional complications relating to Microsoft's inability to properly emulate DOS sound under NT. There's plenty of threads here about how to deal with that.
