I solved the jedi.lvl problem, I think, but now I'm getting the message:

FILE: C\proj\jedi\src\main\main.c LINE 1618
ASSERT: COULD NOT LOAD LEVEL
AVAILABLE MEMORY: 7587 LARGEST BLOCK: 4342

Press any key to continue...

Any ideas? My other levels work with no problem so it has to be something specific to this level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May the Force be with you...always...

That error message is unfamilliar to me... I would reccomend opening up each of the files, most notably the .LVL, .O, the .INF, and the JEDI.LVL files. check to see if they may contain errors... Most likely, they'll be in the headers.

Been a long time since I've had to deal with that kind of a thing. In my experience, it's usually been caused by objects like 3DOs and WAXs. If nothing else works, try removing any custom objects one at a time (especially ones that are used in unusual way, such as a wax with a logic intended for a 3do).

Yes, that error happens when you have objects in your level that aren't actually in the gob file.
It even happened to me today, but thankfully it's easily fixed. Just make sure your gob contains all the voc wax fme 3do etc. that you want in your level.

Also, sometimes DF will fail to load the level if the capitalization of the resource names is incorrect... Make sure the name of the file has the same capitalization as its reference in the level.
