Should a speed run be done on Dark Forces?

I thought of doing a normal walkthrough with all secrets found, but not as a speedrun. tbh I think it wouldn't serve its purpose. I DID however try to start the speedrun on HARD mode, but couldn't even beat level 2. Using slowdown it would be doable probably. BTW: have you seen my start of level 5? I didn't compare the times but I think its a bit faster than the normal route?

Stop my video at 1:05, and then stop yours at 1:06 (the extra second can be attributed to the longer loading time in your video). Funnily enough, we were both waiting for the elevator at exactly the same moment. It's a veritable second starting gate – all you had to do was be there.

(TASing could possibly eke out barely enough frames to pull through that. But we'll see.)
