Well, I just witnessed another strange turn of events... It was so foggy outside, I could hardly see anything out of a 4th-floor window... In the past few weeks, the daytime temperature has been as low as 15°F/-9.4°C, and up to 70°F/21.1°C... Any comments, stories of recent bizzare weather, or simple complaints about this pointless topic (but I get the "General Discussion" defense, so HAH!Mr. Green)? Post 'em here!

Strange coincidence... It's almost never foggy here, but just today a gigantic cloud appeared out of nowhere, covering the entire city in dense fog in a matter of minutes. Though we've had a bit more stable temperatures, a few degrees above freezing.

And by now, the fog here has dissapated, allowing clear view for quite a distance... It's almost scary, especially considering we normally only get fog during around dawn, during the summer...

By the way, what city do you live in? (I'm not even going to guess) I live in the oddly positioned city of "Mt. Pleasant". It's not that nice a city, and it's at a rather low elevation, hardly above 300ft/100m.

The morning was clear here, with a beautiful sunshine. The fog appeared around mid-day, and lasted until dark. For obvious reasons I don't know anything after that.

I live in Linköping, the fifth largest city in Sweden, with slightly over 130000 people (that's in the greater area, not the city core itself).

130000... is that metric or A.I.?

Ah, to live in California. We get just about everything here and have just about everything. We are the whole world compacted into one state.

(I mean weather and terrain)

In Michigan. I know that there's multiple Mt. Pleasants in the US, and that there is one in SC... Up here, with huge bodies of fresh water equal distances from all sides, the weather is very unpredictable, compared to most other cities...

I live about 10 miles from the coast of the Pacific, so it's not uncommon to have interesting weather. Today it's pouring rain like a blown pipe, but yesterday it was perfectly clear.

But all of that is nothing compared to this

Pretty weird stuff.

I read about numerous strange forms of precipitation, including:

Goo (both organic and non-organic)
GIANT hailstones (>6in/15cm)
Blood
Fish
Cats&Dogs(no, really!!!)
Wooden Boards (ouch!)
Feathers
Paper money (I'd like that!)
Coined money (that'd hurt!)

...Along with countless more that I can't remember...

In the past week, the weather has been like, In no particullar order:

sunny
T-storms
hail
fog
VERY windy (almost hurricane-force)

I find the cats and dogs one a little hard to believe, unless a tornado hit a building of the humane society.

The most probable explaination for most of them would be a tornado... That's been proven to be the cause of several rains of fish...
