As suggested by Nottheking, this is the thread where you can report any errors or bugs you find on the site. Found a broken link? Is the upload form not working correctly? Was the whole site down for a time? Is our server jinxed?! This'd be the place to mention it.
We ask that you post only about site malfunctions here; other Feedback items (i.e. upload notifications, suggestions as to how we could make the site better, etc.) should be posted as separate topics.
And now: let the bug reporting begin!

I'll go back through the files that I have and see if I happen to have any of those... Honestly, perhaps I should just back up all of the DF-21 files, and then we wouldn't have to worry so much about this. I'd do so, if my current computer weren't giving me headaches in this department.

Well, digging through the files that are making a mess on my hard drive, (I have yet to organise my HDD, even as I have yet to organize my desk) I only managed to find one of the files that is missing:
dsplans.zip
I have uploaded it, so hopefuly that's one less item on the "lost" list...

Yes, image recognition trickery is now a barrier to would-be spam-bots.
It was the multiple SQL injection and cross-site scripting vulns that persuaded me to pull my finger out and get the update done though.

1. I just tried to download boing.zip and stretch from Showcase Levels, and got error messages.
2. Beyond Dark Forces doesn't seem to be on DF-21 anywhere.
3. The Mines page *still* isn't back up.
It would also be nice if someone downloaded all the missions on the site, noted when they were made, and added that information to the Missions pages; or maybe even made a new page sorted by date. There are a lot of levels out there, and if I was going to try systematically playing all of them, it would be nice to have a logical order to go in.

1. I just rummaged through the FTP and, yeah, we're definitely short those two patches. I'm going to scan my computer but if anyone else just-so-happens to have the zips themselves, by all means, upload them!
2. I don't think I've even played Beyond Dark Forces before! The one existing source online -- darkforces.future.easyspace.com -- seems to be, uh, offline. Again, if anyone has it, don't hesitate to upload it.
3. Yeah, another "if you've got it, upload it" one. Much of the site can still be found on archive.org, but we're still short pictures.

Definitely a good idea... right now, the only way of knowing when levels were released is by memory, and that can be plenty faulty. I'll see what I can do about this -- most textfiles don't include dates, but a bit of critical googling might do the trick.

Wouldn't most of them have the original Date Modified info attached to the files themselves, so you'd just look at Get Info or Properties?

Alright, I want to give you an idea of what the chronological listing will look like.
The asteriks indicate that I need to work with those particular missions... for the most part, the asteriked levels just aren't listed on the downloads page. A few from 1995 have have altered .O files instead of the typical BATs and GOBs, so I might kindly add one of those to those types of levels.
Also, there are two add-ons named "Secret Base." Gotta resolve that one.

Two quick notes:

We must conspire to unseat it.

At the risk of sounding hilariously demanding, I have to point out to everyone that although the recent years may look pretty pathetic, the list leaves out all the demo/unfinished levels that have been posted. (Also showcase levels, but I don't think they should be lumped together with [?entertainment levels].)

Hilariously demanding? Nah. Going through the demos and showcases is the obvious next step anyway.
Just from looking at them, the majority of the showcase levels seem to have been released within the last five years. All the demos are relatively new, too, but that's because we didn't have a Demo Shed until 2002ish.

Well, if you need something to do, I think I brought it up that the flood control seems wacky, in that it applies to edits, not just new posts. Rather annoying when it does that.
