I don't think the Seinfeld/Kramer reference is avoidable here. I chose to replace the last word in the title and the shorter word because I thought it would be more recognizable that way. (edit: I'm not sure there's even an option if you use the exclamation point.)
Frodo: "We can't do this by ourselves, not without pants."
Gandalf: "...Pippin saw a glimpse of the Enemy's pants."
Merry: "The Enemy thinks you have pants!"
Elrond: "The man who wields this sword can summon an army greater than any that wears pants."

I'm not sure I've ever used pants to describe our server problems. In any case, that reference didn't occur to me at all. Maybe it's just been too long since I kept up with DF-21 seriously.
I just noticed I still have seniority on all of you, even though the old board data is gone. At least I'll never be a post count leader again.

In order to not be confused with server pantsings, should I have followed Matt K's meme and called it "The Return of the PANTS!"?
Also, while I'm posting, I might as well add that I'm aware of the monkey thing from like 2001, but not anything that's happened to it since then - did we ever get a decent (non-monkeyed) DVD version of Star Wars released in Russia?
