This time I'm showcasing a demo level of Ord Mantell by Geoffrey S.. He has expressed some interest in possibly continuing this mod, so it is showcased here in DarkXL. Remember this is from an early demo and is thus very incomplete.

One thing I'd like to highlight in this level is the effort spent on lighting/shadowing. In screenshot 2 you can see light/shadow regions for the lights in the walls, on 3 you can see multiple light beams crossing, on 4 and most of the others you can see shadows from the beams and ceilings, and on 9 and 13 you can see some textured light spots on the ground from the light fixtures in the ceilings. If the level is finished with the same eye for details, it should look really cool.

Many, many thanks! It was the last thing I worked on properly, and in the end I quit because I got fed up of trying to balance architecture with the limits of the engine. I'd certainly be interested in picking this up again without those limits, and a little spare time.

Looks amazing, especially the architecture and lighting. Please do continue, we really need some good levels for DarkXL.
