I've started a bug list on the website. Please check the bug list before posting about bugs on the forums, which will help us reduce duplicate reports. Also this will give you an idea of the priority and progress of the bugs.

Wouldn't it be more effective to use a (simple) bug tracker?

Yes, however I wanted to setup a bug list now while I decide on a more permanent solution to takes its place. This serves several purposes: it allows bugs to be tracked in a visible way, reduces duplicates - no need to read through pages of posts to find if you're bug has been reported, gives an indication of what issues are currently being worked on and what priority the bugs have - which could be changed if a person has a compelling reason.

Long term I will switch to some bug tracking software, but I wanted a short term solution up there. If you have any recommendations feel free to talk about them Smile

I'll have to look into it. I remember running across a bug tracker comparison a while ago, I'll try to find it again. I remember using BugZilla a few years ago when submitting GtkRadiant bugs, it had an abysmal user interface.

I have created a project on CodePlex and am now using their Issue Tracking service for DarkXL. I "unstickied" this topic since its been replace with the Issue Tracking sticky topic.
