I know scapegoat retired a long time ago, but has anyone heard from any of the other great DF modders lately? Patrick Haslow, Matt Hallaron, Barry Brien, etc.?

(btw, Burning Gundam, I haven't read many of the older forums, but do you still have Cloudspear 2?)

To answer Burning Gundam's Question:

I'm working on a project called Despayre. It's basically you infiltrating the planet Despayre to investigate a large buildup of Imperial Resources. The level is about 1/3 complete architecturely, but It's gonna take a whole bunch of crazy INF to make it work.

I pull it out 2-3 times a year and do some tweaking.

I'll eventaully finish it, it's just a question of if anyone will be around to play it when I do.

Poking around, waiting for DarkXL to work at full. I can make levels, I just can't test them. I've got two that I've sat on for a year now, don't think they'll see the light of day.

Ever since you asked about my project, I've been sketching DF level layouts.

PS: Did anyone sketch level layouts when they were younger? I started when I was in Elemetary School...

I've seen DarthDoctor online on his Yahoo account fairly regularly, but last I heard he was too busy for DF stuff these days. Cheddar was alive at least as late as 2006, for what that's worth.
