I am new to this wonderful saga and I am trying to end all the games with perfect scores including 100% hitrate.
I have a problem in jedi outcast. I know I never missed a target and yet I ened 1st level with 93% hit rate. What is it I missed?
I'm suspicious about several targets that could be invalid hits:
--front doors (blasting with giga gun)
--engine (which explodes
--breakable/explosive targets (boxes, grills, glasses)
--neutral robot
--enemy robot
Anyone achieved 100% hitrate?

100% hit rate is going to be near impossible, especially with guns with a high scatter rate. Plus I really don't think anyone knows what constitutes a valid or invalid hit. It's entirely possible some valid targets register as invalid hits (that sort of thing would be near impossible to catch in testing).

Jedi Outcast blaster fire was... odd to say the least. You could stand right next to a stormtrooper rapid-fire and not hit him once. I could never figure out why blaster rifle seemed so wonky in that game.

I am not using imperial blaster, it is fast & powerful but very unaccurate. I used only bryar charged shots, slow but accurate. I have one-shotted all foes except robots (2-3) shots. I'm positive I have never missed.
I can't believe programmed have logged hit rate and still haven't tested it, that sounds lame, but this kind of stupidity is common in PC games.
If it's true it will totally kill my motivation for this game

here are my actual stats for 1st stage:
shots: 163
hits: 156
hit rate 95.71%
So I have 7 invalid hits
Coincitendaty the front doors took 7 hits to open... I wonder if that's these doors that ruined my performance... if there any other to enter the base?

It's probably the doors. I don't know of any other way to get in the base.

I say anything above 90% to be terrific. I could only manage something like 42% average.

I did various tests in the next level and I can confirm that any shot made with the huge gun (the one with a chair) count as missed shot, whether you hit something someone or nothing... so a 100% in first level is impossible :/ the developers of this game have no soul and should burn in hell

Well, at the very least have comfort that all the shots were 100% accurate anyway. It's not like anyone is going to challenge it because you just proved that it's impossible.
In my book that IS 100% anyway you look at it.
