Given the graphics, it looks like the PSP version being played through an emulator.

it's actually the ps2 version with the native ps2 resolution, it sure doesn't look great on my 1900x1200 desktop

but the good news is the game is playable from begining to end with very minor gfx glitch (there are some voice/dialogues missing tho)

and with my quad core it's very fast 45-50fps average

and emulator supports save states which means you can save and resume game at any point

I was originally going to say the PS2 version, but I thought the graphics looked a little too primitive for it. The 4:3 aspect ratio should have been a dead give away for me...

well the native resolution of a PS2 may look good on a TV but it doesn't look that good on a PC with HD resolution (1900x1200)

this game is really good it's incredibly enjoyable to use all the powers of the dark side of the force with very little restriction to crush your enemies


of course it makes the game a bit too easy, but enjoyable nonetheless

Come this holiday season we finally will have a chance to play it. "The Ultimate Sith Edition" will be released for PC, Macintosh and consoles.

Playing through TFU on Xbox 360 on Sith Master mode... it's friggin' hard! I'm about halfway through the game right now.

Also, since I'm looking at a crappy LCD panel with glare and it's not the best image for an example, MZZT, do you mean it "re-sizes" or "re-samples?" Just out of curiosity, I suppose. :p

That is up to your browser. I think right now IE resizes and the rest resample.

I think I'm gonna sell my ps3 copy (As well as some other ps3 titles I have) of TFU towards the PC Ultimate Sith Edition. Hopefully my computer should be able to handle after the major upgrade.

I just installed force unleashed PC version

my spec Radeon HD4870 crossfire 2x1GB + core2quad @3.2GHz + 4 GB corsair dominator

it took ridiculously long to install, about 1 hour

it takes 26GB ridiculous install space

the first level is choppy barely plays at 30fps

you can't save your game

one advice: stay the f*** out of this game
the worst game ever PC optimization wise

It's not the worst port, but it's pretty bad. I've never seen so many loading screens just to access the menus.

It runs decently on my system but there does seem to be an FPS cap. The gameplay is hack-and-slash circa 2002.

Anybody played the new levels? I don't know whether to buy them or not. The Tatooine one looks pretty cool. Pity the Hoth one isn't coming out as DLC. I'm definitely not buying the Ultimate Sith edition just to play a couple of new levels.

I played the Hoth level for a while and it sux imho

very repetivive: kill Wampas, jump crumbling platform, kill wompas jump crumbling plateforms... etc... nothing else to see

And Luke falling to the Dark Side. I sense a repeat of The Force Unleashed story only Starkiller will use Luke just like Vader used him

Well guys a new patch apparently helped out beefing up the performance. I guess this game is now worth getting, as long as you install the new patch.

Runs fine on my machine, only slight FPS drop in one or two places.
