I'm just a guy who's always loved Dark Forces. I remember spending a good bit of time trying to do level editing, I had grand visions of a mod to translate Mega Man into 3d, before giving up because the engine wouldn't support the sector sizes I wanted, and it was just so much detail work and I simply wasn't patient enough. I did manage to hack together a working version of DF on my Mac using a PC copy and the Mac demo, which is probably my proudest DF-related achievement. I also spent some time trying to do simple hacks to the logics, but that went nowhere fast.

So I've been around the community a while. Just as more a hanger-on than a contributor, sadly. And like everyone, I'm super-excited about DarkXL. And since I am a member of the community, even if a peripheral one, I thought that my campaign might be of interest to some. I'm not trying to spam, I promise.

Why is it that conspiracy theorists love to talk about how the people behind the conspiracies have no problem with killing anyone who tries to reveal the truth, yet the conspiracy theorists never worry that those same alleged conspirators would silence them too, if they really existed?

If I ever thought there was a real conspiracy enacted by murderous conspirators, the last thing I'd want to do is make enough noise for them to find me and kill me in an "accident" that just happens to kill me, my family, my friends, and anyone else who happened to be within a 1 mile radius of my position at the time.
