This is an idea I just thought of. Someone should make a DF level that uses south park characters.
Cartman= main player
Kenny= Regenerating storm trooper
Stan's voice: Oh my god you killed kenny!
Kyle's voice: You bastard!
Terrance and Phillip = jan
Military soldiers (from south park movies= other enemies

I don't get it. But it seems more like this would be suited for a DooM mod and not DF =/ .
Just my opinion anyway.

Yeah, don't really see the point. Although I am a big South Park fan (even though the latest one was a bit too disgusting), I reckon you'd need a pretty decent storyline to make it worthwhile. Of course DF's low res 2d sprites would be perfectly suited to South Park's style and animation, and considering South Park residents don't move their legs while walking, animating the sprites would be simple too.

Didn't Mart actually start that project back in the DF99 days? I know there are South Park sprites in The Gallery at least.

That's right. A few years ago I started a level called cartoon-df, which was basically just df in plain primary colours without any texture detail. I threw a few of his sprites in and it worked pretty well. The only problem I can see is that South Park is a pretty 2 dimensional world, none of the buildings seem to have depth or perspective. DF might be a bit too advanced for it.
