So, today is the big shopping day, I am going to leave with my brother in a short while and see what kinda deals I can get. Everyone post what great bargins you get on your loot here.
Also, I know this is the day after Thanksgiving, but I wos wondering if any other countries have something like this were everyone goes and shops.
Anyway, I am off to get Max Payne used for $12

I got a massive poster of Aragorn riding out on his horse with the army behind him from Return of the King. It is the most prominent (and largest) poster in my room.
I love it cause it is heroic and epic at the same time.

I won't be buying gifts this year.

I've been low on cash ever since my car's alternator broke. So instead, I'm avoiding the shopping hassle and compiling a book of short stories and essays that I've written in the past. I'll be giving one to my family, and then a copy to each of the other family branches. Maybe even a few friends of mine.
While I'm on that topic, would anyone like a copy? It'll be a present from me to anyone who wants a copy, and I'm actually quite a good writer. I can't say when it will be finished, but it will definitely be at least a week before christmas.

I "slept in" that morning. I didn't actually get up until arround 3:00 PM. However, i don't see anything really wrong with purchasing things that both the retailers and the manufacturers are willing to sell at what would be considered a loss...
...Just goes to show, despite their use of the "loss leader" system of dragging customers into the store, most of the people in my family buy only those things most of the time... We know we're supposedly "hurting" the economy by doing this, but it's really the choice of the businesses, who are cutting their own profit margins, in hopes that they can drastically increase their sales. In this case, it works. Sales for "Black Friday" reach thousands of times what they do in the previous day in the US, especially considering the previous day is a national holiday!

I was thinking about actually bindinh it and making it a small book, but I'm not going to publish it. Sure, I'll give you a copy. Just send me your home address to my email and I'll send you a copy once I start sending them out. Thanks.
