In Jedi Knight finding secret area was rewarded by more force stars, is there any benefit in finding secret areas in JA?

JO gives you set force power upgrades after each level. JA allows you limited freedom in assigning stars but you don't get any for secrets.

Secrets are just for the sake of finding secrets.

Yeah, they're pretty worthless. In DF they at least had useful powerups or humorous scenes (no ewoks in JA, sorry). Besides, having a saber and force heal in JA pretty much negates the usefulness of both ammo and health pickups.
