While rummaging through some old files yesterday I came across an old series of levels I started years ago. To be honest, I don't really like Galactic Battlegrounds, but the built-in editor allowed for a lot of modding potential that none of the other Star Wars RTS games really could offer.
So, I've decided to revive the project and put together a few more levels in my spare time. The mod is about a mysterious attack on an Imperial Remnant research facility and a commander's attempts to find out what happened through a damaged probe droid that was present during the attack. I admit, the levels do reflect my age at the time I made them, but with some work they might be worth something.
In case anybody's interested, here are the first four levels, all I've completed so far. The first and third ones should be worth playing through, but I wouldn't spend much time on the other two. They should probably be replaced with some simple cutscenes.
By the way, do any of you know any good sites for SWGB modding? If I do ever get this finished, I'll need a place to post it for some feedback.

I thought about buying that game a while ago when it was still in a jewel case at Frys. But when I had gathered enough nerve to buy them they were already sold out and out of print.

Yeah . . . the game had a lot of potential, but in its original form, it was hellishly unbalanced and got boring pretty quick. I guess I should give it more credit though - the campaigns were a lot of fun, and some of the mod levels made for it were even better (Death Star Escape and the Dark Forces mod, for example).
