This is the best news I've heard for the past couple weeks. It's been a good ride watching this whole project unfold for the past couple years and it's refreshing to see it finally reach beta status soon.
Looking forward to the OSX support

Wow. OS X support. That would be wonderful. I am currently running DF via boot camp which is a pain but runs very well. Lucius I'm looking very forward to having the entire game will all weapons. Thanks so much for what you are doing. When mac support finally gets here I'll probably quit my job and just play DF all day long!

Others do the actual Mac (and iPod and iPad) massaging these days. I just help manage the inventory and the money that comes and goes.

I look forward to the fruits of your labor, lucius! It will be interesting seeing what happens when the source code gets released, but I don't think anyone else's individual efforts can top what you've put into it so far.
