My 2nd mod so far. Designed for LAN parties, LANtastic is a Gateway G6-366c tower with custom internals and the familiar look of the Gateway boxes, which are painted like cows. Mods include a 120MM dremeled fan intake, case handle, 80MM LED exhaust fan, dremel work on the backpane to allow use of the LAN jack, hi-output 40MM Northbridge fan


Specifications:


DFI AZ-30TL
AMD Duron 1.4 'Applebred' @ 1603 Mhz, 153MHz FSB
Radeon 9000 64MB DDR @ 290 / 225
768MB Crucial DDR
10 gig Maxtor master HDD
6.4 gig Quantum partitioned into a 4 gig partition for page file and 2.4 gig for storage
24X Gateway CD-ROM


....all on a 90W PSU

Those specs sound pathetic, but when you're running it off of 90 Watts... You should only have enough power for the LEDs! Smile

I can hardly wait until I get the parts for my new computer... It would be best described by quoting Han Solo... "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts." Unfortunately, I don't quite have the money for the Radeon 9800XT, so I'll be sticking with my old 7000 for a few months afterward...

Using the insurence money I recieved 3 years back (yes, it's been *that* long) I got a 9800XT. They come with a HL2 coupon :p

I'm not gonna gloat about my specs (because that would be cruel) but you wouldn't power the cooling systems with a 90 watt PSU :p I had to go get a 600 watt just to power this thing, so torun all that on a 90, you have my respect.

You can gloat all you want... I'm not afraid! Not with a new AMD Athlon 64 coming my way! As for the PSU, I didn't even know that made them that low...
