Yeah, you can probably find it in the bargain bin somewhere.

You cannot download the full version of Dark Forces legally. It is still sold in small quantities as the above ppl have said.

I recommend ordering it from LucasArts' company store. http://companystore.lucasarts.com/

Here's a direct link:
http://www.lucasarts.com/companystore/darkforces/
$15 for the PC version, $20 for the Mac.

Just think, for only $15 you'll get one of the greatest games of all time, AND you'll be supporting LucasArts to make more great games!!!

Just don't get a warez Dark Forces, or I will smite you. Evil or Very Mad

All of us have a legal copy of DF. (as far as I know of...) There's no reason for you have a warez copy...

Was it given or was it a Warez copy?

Mine cost... roughly $12. It was part of a $50 four pack, along with X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Yoda Stories, as well as teasers for JK, MotS, and XW vs. TF...

I paid the full $30 for my copy when it came out years ago. I never started even considering level editing or downloading new levels until I stumbled upon DF-21 in 1999!

I definitely wasn't one of the first to get DF... However, it was one of the only games I could get to run well on my first computer, which was a 486 120Mhz, leaving JK, XW, and TF out of the question... I first came across editing when my brother presented me with The Imperial Academy, and WDFUSE, which he had acquired during one of his lengthy searches in his endless quest for new PC thingamajigs.
