STORY:
A passing Rebel ship has detected something on an old, long-deserted base on planet Ardron. Two X-Wings were sent to investigate but they never came back.
Your mission:
- Explore the base
- Eliminate any threat you find
- Locate the missing X-Wing pilots
Neat textureing though plain and bare.
Boring rectangular architecture.
A deserted base where the first enemy you face is a phase3 dt.
Next a phase2 dt that can easily be defeated by firing mortars through a window.
Next you have to face bobafett and a phase2 dt at once.
Once defeated you get to save 2 x-wing pilots.
This is a short endurance match type level. No real story no great effort put into architecture. Just a level to test your df skill.
Good fun but by no means a good df mission.

Ardron was useless. If there's one thing going for it, the deserted feel was present--but Return to Fest or whatever it was called did a much better job in that aspect. The base wasn't really a base, and it was too well lit--but the large open areas did give a desolate feel. The battling was awful. You just fight a couple bosses. Boring.
Don't even bother downloading this level.

I thought it had quite a nice layout. Sorta like a multiplayer level, but without the multiplayer.

Hmmm, I never thought of it like that before. It would make a good MP map.
Unfortunately... DF doesn't... well, you know.
