A great level. After the crash at www.df-21.net , we lost the original verson, but have an SE out by the author. I accually think I have the original edition...
IT's been some time since I played this one, but as I recall, I felt this was a good, solid level. Nothing out of the ordinary, a little bland, but definately a smooth piece of work.

This is a really good level. It has imaginitive architecture, with a detailed (albeit confusing) base layout. Loads of excellent ideas in this level, and tons of atmosphere. All in all a great level with plenty of good stuff going for it. 9 out of 10.

Incredible! One of the worst performances of my career and they never doubted it for a second. -Ferris Bueller

Just as a footnote, it wasn't the crash- the zip copy both on my machine and on df-21.org was corrupted (wouldn't open in PowerArchiver or Quick View Plus). Any lossage probably occurred during the moving of the files from df-21.net to .org.

This was the second custom DF level I ever played, and I was, and still am, rather impressed by it.
The first things that struck me was that the level was more dynamic and interactive than the LEC levels. In the LEC missions, you run arround and shoot up the stormies, and there's a mile bit of INF used for realism. In DP:IC, there's INf seen at wokr in veritually every room. The ventilation fan at the start is a nice touch, as is the sunset effect (it still is nice because it's time-based and more gradual than that of DT II). Additionally, the arcitecture, while not too ornate, got the job done well, and the level was well-structured, allowing for considerably more than 1-dimensional movement through it. The puzzles were fairly good, even though some objectives were a little too-well hidden, and I spent 6 hours the first time through, when it should have taken only 1 at most.
Although the author warned against wasting ammo, I never ran out on any setting. As for enemies, they had decent placement, thought the crowds (the few that were there) were a little easy to dispose of. Although I'm not too keen about the use of a hunter-killer droid for a boss, it's better and more believeable than a plain Boba Fett or DT. Overall, the level was quite good, and is one of the best (even if I agree that it falls short of 5-star)
Quality: 92%
Atmosphere: 77%
Innovation: 97%
Gameplay: 80%
Overall: 87%
