Hi,
I finally reinstalled DF on my PC (Windows XP Home) and got it working just fine. So I reinstalled WDFUSE and my work files for the Archangel series. I launched Archangel 3 for a very long time in a while and realized that I even had forgotten about some sectors. "Wow, so I had done this?!" 
It's so hard to come back to editing DF that I even forgot what some sectors were intended for and what action should take place in here or in there (VUE, INF) and how I had planned to interconnect some sectors. But don't worry, I'll remember...

That happened when I restarted work on SBoT a week ago. There was so much that I had done with the INF that I had forgotten what most of the sectors were for. So I'm going to be taking a period in which I can just sit back and see how things used to work, because I had not touched the level since it went into a coma on me in February.
I'm more into Jedi Crystal right now though and I have little insentive to complete it at this time. At least the skeletal remains (The SECBASE.LEV) is still intact. But I had to completely restructure the GOB file with what I had added, and there was a lot too. I'm pretty sure I'm still missing some stuff too.

Yeah, I can relate to that. I mean, Archangel 3 has been in the works for what, 6 years now? You have probably changed it around dozens of times by now. Today I was writing down some notes for the gameplay in Dark Tide III and I realized that I have notes on the same topic from around 2000. Part of my problem is the time it takes to just get back into the swing of things. Just when I do, I'm forced to postpone my activities.
For instance, I just got around to doing some editing, when now I got a G5 and have switched over to MacOS X. It's been a big adjustment.

Hmm... I have yet to re-install DF on my new Athlon 64 machine... I do keep a fairly good memory of where I leave off when editing, though... I may still surprise myself, though.
