Resting. You know the drill.
I think if it's ever going to be finished it needs just one person to take it and impose a plot on it, and actually decide on a route (doesn't mean "make it linear"!)
Could remain "open" in terms of alpha/beta testing, and I'm sure if someone has the time to kickstart it others would be happy to contribute.
However I am not the man to administer the necessary voltage.

This is ridiculous! Is there nobody out there? Goeffrey? What about you? Why don't you take it and make it good? Who had it last, how long ago was that?

Tom Manning took it in January 2005 and it hasn't been updated since. The last updating was done in Oct 2004 by df4gl4ever and I. The last two threads made of any real importance to this thing were "Version: 26th October 2004" and "Can I?". Tom wanted to take the OP for a month, but that has now turned into almost fifteen months. My guess is that whoever wants it can take it, but you might want to check with Tom, Nottheking, or Jackson before doing so.

I hadn't been involved in the Open Project when it was operating smoothly, but I'd have no problem stepping in and overseeing due dates or whatnot.
I'll see about getting in touch with NTK, too... he hasn't been here in ages, but might still be interested in running things.

I don't think I ever even downloaded the file, my enthusiasm was about as long lived as a housefly

Some day I'll check it out and nuke the area I made. It sucks. Then I'll put something better in it's place.

*looks up groggily*
Huh? Something's happening with the Open Project? Who said that was allowed to happen?
At any rate, I never considered it dead, merely sleeping.
At any rate, now that I see that we're atually getting something happening here, I'll be glad to help however people would like. If anyone cares to actually take a turn, just let me know however you'd like, and I'll toss your name onto the list. And as a special bonus, I'll even use a stick to convince people not to take several years for their turn...
Oh, and anyone who wanted to get a hold of me simply had to Google my name; yeah, I've not posted at Massassi in quite a while either, but the list of forum sites I might be found at is too long to list here...

Well, if you'd have TOLD me that from that START, things might've not stopped...
