should i make a DT3 w/new graphics as a boss in my level or is the idea too overused

Is there a reason to meet four at once? Are they meant to be a set? Or are there more of them simply to make the battle challenging? There's nothing wrong with using any particular logic for an enemy, with the exception of the DT II (purely because they drop missiles/plasma carts). Everything in your level(s) should have a purpose of sorts. Having a boss simply to have a boss is frowned upon. However, if the boss is part of a plot (i.e; an arch-villian or said villian's guard) is the reccomended way to go. If the four DT IIIs are, say, four sith brothers/sisters, that could make sense. even if it's simply a matched set of four slaughter-bot-2000s guarding the solar ionization reactor, that's better than simply having a boss. Mentioning that you're making a new WAX for them is a good sign, as that means you probably already have some way of working them into the plot.
