How many here ever played the demo of The Rising Fire by my old alter ego jackyfrost? I don't think its even on DF-21 anymore. If you newer guys would like to see it, than I could upload it some time to hopefully reside in the Showcase levels section.

I don't think that I've played it yet... I've only gotten through about 70 custom levels so far...

The demos are still here. One day someone might put up an index page, but I just remembered I don't work here any more.

I thought it was a very cool intro, and good to see someone using the Gromas palette.

Small, but very nice. Especially the atmospheric effect (haze) fits well.

Rising was very nice indeed. I especially liked the electrical arcs along the sides -- always a great eye for detail, my friend. It inspired an idea for GRANLAND, a level which sadly is hibernating.

I remember after Patrick told me the truth about Jackyfrost, I said, "Man, I am so glad I didn't try to hit on her."
Of course, Patrick is really Velvet Jones.
