The poll will close tomorrow at around 10 a.m. eastern standard time and the winner, of course, will appear on the front page a few hours after that.

And it looks like Barry's host is misbehaving at the moment. I don't have copies of the two winning screenshots on my machine, so I'm afraid we'll have to sit tight until it's back in action.

We had a poll for less than a single day?! I wasn't even on at any point in there... If I do get a vote, (I've got laywers with experience from Florida 2000 on my payroll, mind you) then it goes for the first shot; not only was it my favorite, it's also the one one that's showing up...

Nope, at least to the best of my knowledge, the poll was open a full 24 hours and closed automatically at five of nine yesterday morning (e.s.t., that is).
The idea of an absentee vote is interesting, but it'd be better if, should you know you'll be out-of-town or at least out-of-the-reach-of-computers on a wednesday, that you post an "absentee vote" topic in the feedback forum; once the poll closes, that'll be it for votes, absentee or not -- no recounts!  Sorry you couldn't make it in time, NTK, but I can't really count your vote this week.
In better news, though, Barry's host is back online, and I'll be updating the SotW quite shortly.
[UPDATE: I'm not finished with the SotW juuuuuuust yet... I have a part-time job to scamper off to at the moment, but, come morning, I should have the the winning shots and their descriptions up on the site.]

Good news: I found a GIF animator that can appreciate my needs (i.e. allows me to operate it; doesn't want money from me; et cetera) and promptly animated together a thumbnail. As well, the description for the shots, itself, is up. Sorry it took me this long, guys!
