Recently, I bought a new robust system with an cuad core2 & radeon 4780X2 and i can not install df2 on it.
I tried every "trick" I could find on google but none worked
when I run the setup, it seems that XP tries to emulate win16 on win32 and the emulation crashes or something
please help.... =/

If your OS is 64-bit it won't work. You can set up a virtual machine with a 32-bit OS and install it on there and then copy the new files and registry entries back to your host PC. Or get a dedicated 32-bit PC but that requires more $$$ but works better if you have less skill.

I have a 32bit win xp pro
the installation windows appeared but when i click install, nothing seems to happen
a setup.exe appear in task manager but it doesn't seem to use any memory

I rebooted XP and the install now worked lol
It was running for weeks with no rest lol
Now I have another very bugging trouble:
when I press esc I get a black screen and the only way to get to the option screen so far was to press windows key and get back to the game =/
Any tip to fix this crap?

I heard there's a trick (In vista anyway) to run the menus in window mode while the game will run in full screen. Maybe it'll work in SP3 XP?
I think the command line under the .exe properties was something like windowedGUI or something along that line.
The game also seems to hate DX10 capable cards (even if your highest DX level is 9) and will not run at all under them in 3d acceleration mode. Kinda sucks, I can't even play it anymore.
