Quite possibly the best horror movie I've ever seen. It was actually scary and very intense. 5 stars. Some of my friends were still on edge after the movie, but I thought it was a great rush. Take your girlfriend if you can...just be sure you wear a thick shirt. You don't want your arm getting clawed off.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, Manning. Women are scum.
Too many bad memories
Prom night, my sister knowing everyone, my ex going out with a total goth....etc. etc.
It just really isn't that important to me anymore.

I'm eager to check this one out, but have not had the time or money as of yet. Soon though soon!
I REALLY hope it is half as good as the Tobe Hooper classic(s). Those will be some tuff films to compete with, and no I don't give a crap about the fact that they chose 35MM film over 16MM or what ever, I liked the old grainy look of the classic, it really gave it presence!
Anyhow I hear the guy who made this was a camera man for the original, which could be a good thing, but on the bad side I heard he was a board member of Directors Against Violence In Films or something. I think there called G.A.Y. or something.
Anyhow, if the film is less gory, then it BETTER make up for it in shock factor! The fact that it is an all star gas makes me hesitent though, cause all star usually spells commercial sell out, and little artistic input, and no (unless its Jonny Depp) original character, as most BIG actors can't act and play the same freaking character every movie (Friends anyhow?).
Also if this movie is all about flaunting T&A to make a buck like many others have become, I am going to be REALLY REALLY REALLY PISSED!
Anhow once again can't wait to see this, and next year's remake of Dawn Of The Dead!
And yes, if it is called Texas Chainsaw, it is based off a real story, but NO ONE knows exactly how those events went, except there was this crazy dude with a chainsaw, and people died, were hung on meat hooks, and clothed with flesh ect!
BTW, House Of A 1000 Corpses is Rob Zombies way of saying," I have so little imagination I have to FULLY rip off Texas Chainsaw's plot to make my movie".
My 2.4 cents....
...again.

I liked the movie, too. All my friends think the movie is a real event, lol. I had to set them straight with my superior intellect. It was a good movie though, a remake actually worthy of the legendary title.
