I just wanted to let you know that almost every site on the Darkforces webring is down!
Probably not your fault just wanted to let you know because it is annoying!

We have a webring? I thought those went out with the 90s. Maybe the one you're looking at did.
A webring is just a list of sites on a certain topic, right? If we made one, it'd basically only have this site on it anyway.

Darth Oosha's right. The webring was made back when this site was known as DF-1999, I think. All those other sites ceased to be maintained, and by now, most of them have vansihed.
Also, that image is of a Phase III Dark Trooper, not a Phase II.

Nope nope, the site was known as DF-21 when it joined the webring -- I remember there being a time before we were part of the webring... even to when we had a visit counter on the front page!

It was set up by Janet Skyy (formerly of the Katarn Commandos). I haven't a clue whether she's still contactable so I don't know whether the ring can be maintained.
It might be time to retire the code from the front page, though. (It could still be available from the links page but I think that contains links to all the remaining active sites anyway...)
