Does anyone know how fast are the laser bolts in Dark Forces? For that purpose, I guess we need to introduce a new unit: DFU/sec.
Further, does it depend on any factor (whether it's fired from a droid, blaster rifle, turret, etc.)? I only know it doesn't depend whether is Kyle moving or not, that is, it's not faster if Kyle runs forward while he fires.
(I know a special laser-benchmarking level could be made, but I'm just asking to save a bit of work in case someone already knows.)

Well, I did test this some time ago, but it's been mabye a year since I've actively worked with DF. I think the figure came out to somewhere arround 80 DFUPS. And, as far as I could tell, all of the laser bolt objects moved at the same speed.

I would have never even thought to wonder how man DFU/S that the bolt travels.
