Hey, I found something kinda odd. Enter a level, type LAPOSTAL or LAMAXOUT our your get-all-the-guns-code of choice, switch to the mortar gun, type LARANDY or, on a Mac, LATERMINATE and hold down the fire key. Every ten shots or so, I never really counted, one mortar shell will fly short, only about half as far as the other shells.
Kinda, wierd, and as best I can tell, it only works when you have the weapon supercharge on.

Yes, I noticed that as well, thoguh ti does happen without the weapon supercharge. Perhaps it's a flaw that LEC put in to make sure that the player didn't get too atteched to their mortar gun?

On a Mac when you type in LATERMINATE the weapons don't even move in your hands or anything. And, by the way, with LATERMINATE on, the range of the mortar gun as substantially shorter as you said, even with constant supercharge.

it also acts as a sheild supercharge powerup. But it doesn't run out.

you talking to me?
Because if you are, you should know I haven't beat any level but my own with LATERMINATE. LATERMINATE just throws the game away.

Hey, don't worry about it Trigger-nometry. If he was talking to you, who cares? You do what you want to do. Besides, I have yet to get past Patrick and Matt's two speeder bikes in DTII without cheating (not that I've been trying every day mind you, but when I have played the level I have always died there at least once).
Yeah I've known about this mortar gun thing for a little while now. What I like to do, though, is turn on the invincibility cheat, stand still, and keep putting down IM mines. Wheee!

Yeah, it's more fun in JK MP tho. Put down 25 mines, wait for someone to walk up to you, free entertainment (and your score stays the same too!).

The only cheat code I really used for Nightfall was LANTFH to get the concussion rifle... And that was only once or twice. However, I am a bit annoyed at the difficulty in beating the bikes when playing on "Hard," which is the setting I normally play on.

I think I usually play on hard, the problem is, most levels I play are old ones that I don't care about beating, so if I die, I don't care that its over, and on the four and five Death Star levels, if I am close to dieing, I don't want to start from the bigining, so I'll cheat to stay alive.
I know, I suck.
