Does anyone agree that circles can be the hardest shape to draw correctly in DF editing?

Not if you use the polygon-making-thing in WDFUSE.

Yeah, same here. Dark Forge doesn't have a polygon creation tool. You have to be careful what ratios you use, and how you distribute the angles, otherwise you end up with a diamond or a square. Not to mention getting the size right!

I usually edit in 1:4 scale as a default and use 1:8 and 1:16 for more precision work. I'll rarely use 1:32 or 1:64 unless I really have to.

My reccomendation: emulate a PC on your Mac. I think that any G4 machine, which most of you should should have by now, (if you're not in the "64-bit club" with a G5 or A64, like I do ) has plenty enough power to emulate enough for an editor like WDFUSE. Actually, for editing Jedi Knight, since the Jed editor doesn't have such a tool, I make my circular rooms, and then import them. Of course, if you have a combination of "rotate" and "cleave" options, such as in Jed, you can use those to "carve" the sector to be a true circle/sphere.
