Ok, on AMONG THE SHADOWS: FORTRESS QUADRIGON, I get the imperial suit and enter the main place. I get to the room where there is a target elevator trigger and then enter the room with an imp officer and a stormtrooper. where there are two separate switches. I realize that one of them opens a nearby door but from that point on.....????????

I don't know what place exactly do you mean. Tell me your coordinates (just type in LADATA during gameplay, and copy the numbers that appear). Your goal is to first get the key from the officer in the bar, did you do that already?

I think he means after getting the key and going into the power plant(?) area where there is a long way down to the floor. There are several elevators in the area and then a trigger elevator that takes you up to the control room with the officer and stormtrooper. From this point I usually go back and enter a big door by one of the elevators in the previous room and then into another room where I put in my identification in the computer and it says something like "OMG you're like Kyle Katarn! Intruder Alert, yo!" Anyway, if that's not what ZoSo729 is talking about, that's where I get stuck.

Ah, yes. At that point, you have to blast the handprint switch (with a blaster rifle, for example), and the damage will open the doors.

Ok, I have the key from the bar...but now the 5 digit code wont work...I opened the wall with green letters and copied them down, but when I enter them, they wont work......???

OK, one more trick-puzzle. The correct letters are not those that the arrows point at, but the arrows point at two lines and two columns, and the code letters are those four at their intersections. In other words, the code is "WEST".
