Hey! I Have been trying to get some new maps and have been having trouble getting it done
I figure its 1 of 2 things. Wrong game, or lack of knowledge.
As for the game I have "Jedi Knight Dark Forces II"
s this site just the first DF, or DF2 also?
If I do have the correct game... I think im in too deep . I d/l, read the read me, and I can never find the right folder. Ex: One said to put it in your Gamedata\base folder. I tride the Lucas folder, the jedi folder, and the all three folders in the jedi folder. (Main reason I think I have the wrong game) Of course if I did put it in the correct folder, then I guess I just cant, due to lack of knowledge, bring it up.
Any Help appreciated.

The Massassi Temple is definately the most active DF2 community right now. TACC has been dead for a while, though they're trying to revive it with new content and site design stuff soon.
As for your question, it sounds like you downloaded a mod or level for Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy. Those are completely different games from Jedi Knight.
The Gamedata\base folder is used by Quake 3 engine games (like JO and JA) to store all non-mod resource data (original/custom maps, original/custom models, level scripts, and other default files that mods can override.
