Okay I got to the part where I have to rescue Madine's cousin, and I knew where he was, but I had to use a cheat because I could hever figure out how to open the door to that building outside the hotel with the lift, can anyone help me?

This is a very, very sneaky puzzle (similar to the one in DF's detention centre level) - you have to send the lift to a certain floor, then you can drop down the elevator shaft and follow a vent that leads off it to the next area.
To get into the lift shaft you have to blow up a wall somewhere (hint: shoot the fire extinguishers). Then there's an awkward jumping sequence in the dark (save your batteries!)
I had to open up the level in WDFUSE and spend at least a couple of hours cheating to figure out what was actually supposed to happen.
I did a mini-walkthrough of this for Sheldon ages ago, I'll see if I can dig it out.

Ah the elevator puzzle... been a while since I played this level so I was unsure of what he was refering to. I think I actually had to open Wdfuse to solve this puzzle too. I was actually thinking about doing something similar to it in one of my other failed levels (got something similar in the current one)
