Dark Forces doesn't support multiplayer AFAIK but that doesn't mean you guys don't play multiplayer, isn't there like an addon or something. I'm sure you play multiplayer, so what games do most of you play around here and how can I get in on it?

Actually, nope, DF is still very much multiplayer-less. There had been a project in the past few years that used the multiplayer-capable engine from Outlaws to create DF-based MP maps, but it's currently on hold.

Has anyone seen the Df thats a mod of jedi academy?
it looks really promising,

but no progress as of late, surely that will have multiplayer capabilities, too bad it won't run on my machine

Actually, I heard that DF MP addon was on indefinate hold, unless I got my facts in a whirl.

There is an MP portion planned (there wasn't originally) but for now I believe we are focusing on SP.
I say "we" in a loose sense. Somehow I manage to be on the team without contributing anything :S. I need to rectify this.

I used to be on the team. I did a few of the secbase textures.
DarthDoctor was doing the DF MP wasn't he? I remember him asking me to build a Talay MP map.

Yeah, I got a map made for him and sent it over. After that I didn't hear much about the mod, so it's probably defunct.

No, I was referring to Darthdoctor's mp mod; the DF for JA mod is still going, though the fact that they've only got 3 completed missions made in more than a year isn't that promising.

It's ashame that no one will take up the DF MP project again from DD. I was kinda hoping to see how fast other players would take me down 
Hm... Does anyone else know how to do Outlaws level editing? Maybe someone could actually start it up again. I'd be more than happy to help however I can

The DF Mod is still alive, I can attest to that. After a long sabbatical, we've all started work again, and much is being accomplished. Look for a *big* update later this month.
