What are those for. There are a bunch of them in the editor and a few of the levels in the game use them(Talay does[obviously] and so does lev. 5). What do they do?

When the inf "message:lights" is sent, the light level in the sector changes to that value (if present).

The usage in Talay being when you switch on the generator. Basically just a lazy way of avoiding a massive number of elevator change_lights to achieve the same effect.

Doesn't seem to be reversible though (i.e. you can't use it more than once in a level). Hence you can't switch the generator back off in Talay.

I hadn't noticed it doing anything elsewhere in the game, dunno why they'd be in Gromas. Then again there are loads of other sector and wall attributes that don't actually do anything and are simply relics from development.

Yah, I would occasionally open one of the original levels up in dfuse and mess around and I notices that there are a lot of places in Gromas that have the "lights in talay" set, like walls and sectors. Well, thanks for the info.
