Hello, here's the short version. I was working on a WDFUSE 2.50 project, the computer locked up, I had to reset, and all my INF information was whiped out for that layer. The INF for the layers above and below the one I was last on is in-tact and works fine. It even affected the backup file. Has anyone come across this Phenomena?

Secondly, I have a working .GOB file of about the same point in time when the above problem happened. The level plays fine, all INF functions properly. I am wondering how to create a replacement .WDP file from my .GOB file. Can anyone please help??
Thanks in advance, Todd

Try this: Open WDFuse, create a new file, select 'User (Distributed) GOB File', select your .GOB file. This is what is done to transfer the Open Project from person to person and I think it has the effect you are looking for. Hope it works Smile

That is ludicrously bizzare, especially given that the .LVL system is not layer-specific in any way; layer is independently assigned to each individual sector, and this has nothing to do with the INF. However, if you had completed the INF for all the other layers before even beginning the first INF sector on the layer in question, it's possible that it just went back to a certain number of items. (it does seem to record them in the order they were written, if memory serves correctly) However, that would not explain the backup file being affected... I might suspect some form of demonic influence, or something... Confused

Anyway, as for a solution, jimbo's suggestion might be the way to go; your latest .GOB file might be fully intact. I wish you luck.
