I think it would be a good idea to make a new forum section, one that would be dedicated only to info about running Dark Forces, bugs while running Dark Forces, sound while running Dark Forces, etc. Its just plain sad how much of the Editing/Levels forum is cluttered with newbie questions about just that. I don't recall that being in line with the intended spirit of that section.

Good call, if I find the time I might set it up.
"Running Dark Forces and Add-On Levels"?
"The Help Forum"?
Would probably need to go at the top of the list so newbies find it first.

Not sure about actually using the word "newbies". It might sound diminutive to some, even if it doesn't actually mean or connote anything other than "people who arrived relatively recently".

Maybe something more along the lines of "Tech Support" or "Troubleshooting" would do?

"Troubleshooting" might work. I was worried that "Technical Help" might be confused with advanced editing help, but I guess that wouldn't occur to most people coming here for help.

"Tech Support" would imply that we provide some kind of service... giving people the wrong expectation of how much we can actually help

Why not "How to run Dark Forces" ? where one thread would specifically explain how to run add-ons. "Troubleshooting" or "Support" may mistakingly lead readers to believe it is help on level edition.
