I am trying to convert the dark forces models, the storm troopers and such, into a modern game engine called sauerbraten. I was wondering if there was an easy way to do this so that the models would remain 2d but be in a differnt format. The animations shouldent be to hard to handle as they are just images of the monsters in differnt positions.
Also, i highly doubt this exists but is there a tool that would export the dark forces levels as .obj or any other file types. This would be really useful but if not i can just recreate the levels since i have all the textures.
I am running a mac but could do either of these on windows.
Any help would be great

There are tools on the main DF-21 website which allow you to convert the animation frames to BMPs or PCXs, which you can then use with any graphics editor to convert into whatever format you want. Check the downloads page under Editors and Utilities.
