As much as it pains me to say this, but unless they make DF usable on modern machines (more efficiently) I probably won't return to modding. However, I have stricken up interest in making maps for Counter-Strike so my hobby for mod and level-making has not yet escaped me.
Although I do miss the days where I was checking this board everyday to see what people were up to. Now it's like maybe once a month

Heh, I guess I'm kinda guilty in the whole "deadening" thing at DF-21; been like two months since I was last here, or something like that.
Well, the good news is that natively, provided I disable music (but leave sound enabled) I can run Dark Forces natively on my Windows ME boot, which YES, is my primary boot. (it actually runs more of my programs/games with better stability than my XP boot, oddly enough, and runs faster)
The bad news is that I've still been pretty much neglecting Dark Forces, and for that matter, much of gaming entirely. I may be able to regain interest, though.
