I have a problem and a question:
Problem: When I type in LAOZ, LARANDY, LABRADY nothing happens how can i fix it?
Question: Where can I get the mac OSX version of the jedi academy mod for dark forces?

Are you using Mac or PC DF? I know some of the cheats are exclusive to one of the two versions, but I don't know exactly which ones.
Also, I noticed each of those has a Z or a Y in them. From experience, I can tell you that some keyboards (German ones, for example) have the Z and Y switched, but DF doesn't recognize this difference. It assumes the Z is at the bottom left (left pinky) and Y is at the top middle (right index). So if you're using a German keyboard, type LAOY, LARANDZ, and LABRADZ.

From what I remember, before you needed to patch the game, the MOD worked with the Mac version. But since the latest (and probably last ever) release requires a patch, I doubt the 6 level version will work. I know the 3 level demo does though.
