When you strike an enemy that lost his weapon because you used "force pull" on him, does it drag you into dark side like striking innocent civilian?

I suspect it but I can't verify it due to a bug that prevents me from accessing the sub menu at any time

It's been a while since playing the game (assuming jedi knight) but it's pretty black and white. an enemy is still an enemy. As long as they attack, you have to defend yourself, right?Smile

The only way to go to the dark side, as I recall, is to outright kill CIVILIANS, and put points into dark side powers. (erstwhile, the only way to really get into the light side is to put points only into light side powers)

I remember on level 4 (the first mission were you get your lightsaber), you can kill your fathers droid, weegee, I think it's name was.

If you kill it (it takes FOREVER to kill, it's got like 100,000 health or something) you'll hear Ron's voice say, "The dark side is your path," or something to that effect.

No way, you can actually kill that little fucker? I tried and I tried. I must go back to that game now.
What about Sam (or is it Max) who is hidden in the Baron's Hed level? Can you kill him?

I've never been able to kill Max. He does turn on you though if you hurt him.

Don't know about Max, but WeeGee can be killed, it just takes a little while.

I didn't realize Weegee could be killed, either. I guess I'll go back and look at his .COG file, and see how much health he actually has.

As I recall, Max lacks a health value, and hence, is invincible.

I found some more information on weegee. Check the "Behind the scenes" section.

Quote:
In one level at the beginning of Jedi Knight, it is possible to destroy WeeGee by dealing sufficient damage, although the droid can withstand a lot of damage. WeeGee explodes, instantly killing the player if he is close enough, and Qu Rahn says, "For you the choice is the dark side." The player also shifts closer to the dark side by about a twentieth of the morality scale meter. However, the player can be redeemed by choosing light side powers and avoiding civilian casualties. This is obviously non-canon, since WeeGee is shown later in the game and in other works.
