I've been looking at the uploads folder and I've rejected some submissions. If you are the author of one of the said submissions please fix the problems noted and reupload if you want your submission to be on the site.
In addition if you have not included a readme file as a part of your upload identifying the name, author name, and purpose of your upload, please post a thread in this Feedback forum with the uploaded filename. This will make it easier for me to figure out wtf the file you uploaded is.
Capp.CT - This Cheat Engine file appears to contain nothing useful.
LOCAL.MSG - Congratulations, you figured out how to upload a file from your Dark Forces game directory. Unfortunately, I already have this one. So does everyone else.
shell.php - Stop trying to hack the server, uploads are no longer accessible from HTTP. Go away before I decide to add logging.
DARK 2.0.gob - Appears to be DARK.GOB with some 3DOs removed??? I guess someone thought Dark Forces would be better if you couldn't see the platform 3dos or the shuttle? Also they didn't realize uploading copies of all the original levels in a GOB was a rather big no-no.
IMPHOTH.gob - It's exactly the same as the version already in our downloads. The GOB file is different but extracting the files from both GOBs reveals they are all exactly the same (same as with DARK 2.0.gob).
All other files in the upload queue have been posted. Bunch of demos, one tutorial, and one misc.

I added 'em to the top of the respective download pages so they're not hard to find.
Burning Gundam made a font. It's the PDA font. So yay.
There's four demos. The Dive: Operation Rescue does not appear to contain levels, but contains every other piece needed for a level. It confuses me.
Covert Missions of the Rebellion: Episode 1: Dark Forces Over Earth: Mission 1: Gala for the Emperor (preliminary version) is a long title with a promising briefing but it suffers from too-many-enemies syndrome.
Battle for Naboo: The Escape (Demo) is a four room demo showing off some trade federation droid waxes, gungan water bomb things as thermal detonators, a boba fett logic'd droid thing, and a diagona that probably has a custom wax but I couldn't get it to pop up so I could see it.
None of those are really worth playing but... Battle for Naboo: The Escape (Unfinished Demo) is!
It's like the previous demo but it's a playable level, and much bigger. It has a custom cursor and palettes for the menus which is really nice and I don't recall any other levels that do that.
It has some balance problems (you get a Dark Trooper Cannon from the get-go) and some enemy problems (I walked through a whole section totally devoid of enemies).
I only played a little bit though because I discovered entering the PDA crashes Dark Forces (so don't).
It was fun though.
And then some guy called Barry Brien made a 3do tutorial. I had to load up Word to read it though.
I didn't read it much but it didn't try to run a Word macro and eat my system so I posted it.

I was considering converting it to html. Should I? I suppose it would make more sense. I'll do it tomorrow, then maybe we could post it in the articles section or something.

The 3DO and You (Phase 2).zip
Yes, I kept the scaling. No, I don't plan to fix it at this time. If you want to adjust things more, that's fine by me.
DOC files are a nightmare to work with. Seriously.

I'm assuming the Naboo demo is the stuff Downward Spyral was working on a while back. (I did a little bit of debugging on some overlapping walls for him at one point.) He'd put a lot of work in and there was definitely some promising stuff in there.
Also you can shoot Jar Jar Binks.

Excellent, I must give it a go. I built him an AAT 3do for it, can't remember if I finished it though.

Whenever I turn on the map it crashes. I was looking forward to killing Jar Jar.

That alone makes it worth it.
Very well done 3DO tutorial, I'll be using that very soon (actually, I may start the mountain areas of my level today after moving all my DF stuff to my other computer).
