Okay, but I was able to recover much faster the other times and they were all different projects.
But I don't see you working on anything right now.

Hehe, let's see how many posts we can next like this.
Anyway, I'm not currently editing any of the three DF levels I have underway right now, for two main reasons.- First of all, Although my new computer can run games DOS games like Daggerfall and Master of Orion without flaw, Dark Forces is giving me problems, to the point of it freezing when I attempt to run it. Obviously, this negates my ability to edit things.
- Secondly, I DO happen to edit things other than Dark Forces. Although it's been a few months since I touched them, I also have three Jedi Knight missions with quite a bit done on them already. (between them, I have roughly 5,000 sectors, for instance, and two of them have about 2/3 of the maximum ~32k surfaces per level already used) But for now, I'm currently making one of those "unnoficial third expansion packs" for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. With how far I've gone with THAT, (it's already exceeded the size of either of the two OFFICIAL expansions) I'm determined not to get distracted from that, and have been maintaining a steady pace, and I WILL release it before the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. (also note that my highest post count is no longer here; I have over 2,400 posts at the Elder Scrolls forums now, in addition to some 1,400 at Massassi)

At least make a simple door like I did last night!

Well, anyway, I AM making "simple doors" all the time. I just click the "door" object tab, select a door such as In_dae_loaddoor_01, place it, (although the doorjamb and hallway pieces fit perfectly with the grid precision set to 64, I have to set it down to 32 or finer for the doors) double-click to open the object's properties, click the "teleport" checkbox, and select another cell, such as Mushashi, The Stinking Pits of Hell, or something like that. Very simple, actually.
...Oh, you meant for Dark Forces? Sorry, can't do that with my current setup, and with about 50 pounds of books currently sitting on top of my two computer cases, that's just too much toil to go through for simply editing DF at the moment. Perhaps when my spring cleaning is done, I'll have a clear desk for once.

Starting to get ideas for Cloudspear 2, but with my two other projects going on at the moment, I wouldn't expect to hear much about this one for a while. I think I have enough on my plate as it is
But I may have a plot description up soon for what I have planned (Continuing with Kevin Buscemi's style of course).
This will be the last of the projects I currently have to be worked with, I want to make sure this is a lasting level that continues Kevin's legacy of good levels.

By "Kevin Buscemi's style", do you also mean making the level at least an hour and a half long?
Honestly, I liked the typical longness of Scapegoat's levels . . . what do you think, Burning Gundam? How long do you plan on making the level?

I have no idea yet, probably not too long with the plot I have devised for it so far. But as we all know with me that's always subject to change. I estimate not much longer than Mt Kurek.

I really don't get the complaints, I thought this was maybe the best DF level I've played.
The puzzles are well thought out, its better signposted than Ironfort so no getting lost (which was so labyrinthine that building it was an achievement, but navigating it almost as much so!), theres not only the right mix of action/puzzles, but they are alternated perfectly, the weapons were handed carefully with ammo scarce until the othket building which was a new (and very good!) experience.
But you already should know the content of that run-on sentence as you've played the level, so heres what I think you're missing. Kevin Buscemi (Scapegoat?) has a style all of his own. He gives an incredibly strong visualisation of a place. The Beyond Glory's were bright, beautiful and otherworldly. Ironfort managed to do at least 3 different styles depending on how deep you went (old red sandstone surface town with courtyards, claustrophobic contemporary layer which twists back on itself like intestines, alien level with hexagons) and Cloudspear has continued this strong performance. This time it was ruin and decay with neither the power or the water working right. The whole city is collapsing in on itself and you have to wade through the deepest part to succeed. The oppressiveness of it was a great contrast to the BGs.
I think at least part of the reason that I'm reading some posts with niggling little complaints is that Kevin's maps are so strongly his own styles, that it doesn't feel like Star Wars any more. Perhaps this is a disadvantage on this site, but to me as I'm much more of an FPS fan than a star wars fan, I really enjoyed this piece of craftsmanship.
(The only other levels I really rate as special have been Dark Tide I, Mt Kurek and Condition Red.)
