Dark Tide 3 Question amoung other things?

I have decided to go through alot of dark forces levels and decided to do dark tide 3 again and hopefully complete it this time but I ran into a problem I killed all 7 red clones the objective is marked complete and its is making a noise constantly making know that the clone network is down but when I throw the switch in the area with all the r2 droids it says clone network must disabled,How do I fix this problem.If the fix entails editing a file please walk me through it because I have never done it before and have no clue what I doing.I also cant run the mod betrayed and I how do I get that to work.

I had that issue when I played that level on a mac, I could never figure out how to get it to work though.

Betrayed had a weird error in one of its sectors that crashed the game whenever you walked into it or activated it. It's been so long since I've played that level though, but I remember it being an easy fix.

Does anyone know how to fix the dark tide 3 issue.Has far as betrayed is concerned is I get to the menu and choose the mission then I crashes and says thank you for playing betrayed I don't even reach the briefing.

For betrayed you probably don't have the right DFBRIEF.LFD in the LFD folder. I know that if I've been playing some other level and forget to swap it out it'll do the same thing. Don't know about the DT3 issue though.

I hope someone knows about the dark tide 3 problem because I was gonna try betrayed but I don't wanna delete dark tide 3 and loose my progress and wanna finish it before moving on to another mod.

Yep, I had that same problem with DT3. Never figured it out, but I remember that it's only happened to me once. There must be some problem with the INF, but as complex as that level is, it'd probably be hard to figure out. I wonder how the INF checks if the clone network is disabled . . . wish I had time to go dissect it, but I've got a lot to do. Sorry.

Well it looks like it time to play the waiting game and hope I can find someone who knows how to fix the issue.At least I wont be bored waiting,because splinter cell should come in tomorrow well the search continues.

Well, the INF that keeps track of how many clones you kill is kinda hacky, so I don't know why it screws up sometimes. Each "clone" WAX uses barrel logic, so it causes an explosion when shot. The WAX is in an elevator sector that is triggered by an explosion. There is a dummy elevator that is supposed to move 1 stop everytime a clone sector registers an explosion, so after 7 sectors register 7 explosions it is supposed to allow the switch to trigger. In retrospect, I probably should have made it a smaller number of clones to destroy...4 probably. I think explosions triggering elevators is kinda wonky...so sorry for the errors. Also, I suspect it may be possible to throw it off if you kill the clone with an explosive weapon (just a guess).

I give that a try and let you know.Let me know if you have any ideas how to fix this so I can continue because I wanna see how this plays out because I have thoroughly enjoyed every level in the series so far.So I am cant wait to continue has you could imagine.

On a related note, I tried DTIII in Boxer on the Mac and got an out of memory error on the 1st level. Dunno how to bug hunt those things anymore...

I tried that and it still didn't work,but on a related note were is the antidote in mission 4 because when in the room with the thin wire walkway is really hard to do when all dizzy.

In the skyhook tether level when the guy opens the door and you have to seal it off I closed the doors to that room but its still not sealed what am I supposed to.

IIRC you have to close ALL the doors... and be on the INSIDE too, I think (you can reopen them if you end up on the wrong side). If there is an inside. I forget.

All the doors in the area or all the doors leading into the room with the breach.I closed all the doors to the room with the breach.

Do I have to be in room with the breach and then close the doors.I have used the 2 levers in the corners to close the big doors leading in to the breach room, and the two red doors leading in to that room I even closed the other two red doors.But I can not close the other big doors because there are no other levers.Is its scripting error like in the clone level.Also when I tried it again,in the walkway room I fell through the walkway leading to the red key.I am sure I didn't fall off.I hope someone can help so I can finish this mission.
