Much better!
Still several issues, which I'm going to report on the codeplex tracker.
But speaking of controls, is it normal that we get such an absolute control of our movements when jumping? No drift if you stop moving forward in the middle of a jump, and you can even start going backward.

Speaking of jumping, I always find that jumping away close to an edge doesn't work. The distance of the jump needs tweaked as well. I think it's those little adjustments that will truly make it feel like Dark Forces.
I forgot about the codeplex site. I'll be adding some entries there.
Great build, lucius. Collision is so much better! It's great to see this project always improving.

Thanks for testing and the comments. Things will be tweaked of course, though right now I'm trying to get all the remaining big functionality and problems dealt with. This means that smaller tweaks might be a little delayed, but they will get done.
*Update* I just uploaded a new version due to a crash problem loading Nar Shaddaa. If you downloaded before the update, please download DarkXL again. Thanks.

Good to see work moving along =D I haven't used DXL in a while so I'm not sure what's been covered already. Some observations I have while playing Anoat for a little bit: I can't use more than two controls at the same time on my machine. For instance, I can't run and jump because I'm holding shift and up arrow (forward), and can't use my jump key. It feels like motion through sewage (water) is a lot easier than in the old game as well. The secret whirlpool makes elevator start sounds as you enter each sector of the pool. Also, I noticed a lighting issue where the flash from a rifle shot lights up the sky along with the nearby wall. Was noticeable next to the sky above a more distant wall that was unlit by the rifle blast.
Also, is the num-pad 0 key bound to something? I noticed when I tried using it as a key, it would pop-up a little DarkXL version identifier in the corner of the screen and pause the game.

The num-pad 0 thing is a bug, it should be fixed in the next build.
As for the number of keys being held, I'm not sure why DarkXL would act any different then other programs. It uses standard Windows input management, with no built in limits as to how many keys are down at any given time. I tried UP + SHIFT (left or right) + SPACE and it worked fine. What is your jump key?
Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

At first I had tried using numpad 0 for jump, hence the question about the pause...but I tried numpad 1 afterward and had the problem. It must be a keyboard issue with that combo... using shift, up arrow, and the old x jump key in Mac DF through Sheepshaver worked fine. Will use that right click for running in DXL.
