No. Upgrade to Windows NT.

Or downgrade with Win98 (SE, of course). Smile 95/98 has the best DOS support, because it's native DOS support. NT/2000/XP is emulated DOS.

What good would that do him? He explicitly stated he needed "sound emulation", that is, a driver that can translate from a hardware call of a DF supported sound card, to a hardware call supported by his sound card. His sound card won't be able to do such a hardware translation simply by by switching the minor version number of Windows 4.x.

They are. However, as he explicitly stated he needed sound emulation, it follows his card is not.

And I still do. Any other suggestions? I do belive I have an SBLive! card or something.

The SoundBlaster Live! is SoundBlaster compatible.
