1. You set the wall's scroll bottom texture flag, go into the inf editor for the wall and use the elevator that scrolls the bottom texture, and put in your angle and speed. Should be easy enough in WDFUSE.
2. Put the file in your project directory, and WDFUSE will automatically add it to your test GOBs.

Pretty much what he said... But I have a few things you should not forget, lest you spend hours in frustration...
1. Remember to put the INF on the SECTOR, not the wall. I don't know why, but putting a SCROLL_TEXTURE elevator on a wall won't do anything... You need to put the INF on the sector the wall is in...
Also, make sure any references to other walls/sectors in your INF are correct, or the level will crash first thing.
2. Just add whatever files you want to the project directory (I.E, C:\WDFUSE\MYLEVVEL). Make sure you don't have any reference in your level to files that don't exist, or the level will crash on loading...

Whoops, forgot about that... hehehe
Oh, and FYI, the Open Project has a few walls with invalid BM names. The game doesn't crash when it loads... *shrug*

Invalid bm names can cause your level to crash, so it's a good idea not to have any present.

Flags.
You apply the inf to the sector, to assaing a velocity vector, and then apply a flag to each wall you want to scroll.
And don't be sorry for intrinsic properties beyond your control.

Wow, I've never seen so many new people coming in. Just when the old DF editors start to retire, new ones come in I guess.

However, no matter what, we're still finding our community very, very small. I'm still unsure of whether that is a good thing, or a bad thing...

I think it's a good thing. It's not very crowded and you come to know people better after a while that way . I think the only problem is that too many people outside of our community have forgotten DF to even bother with DF-21 at all. Luckily I happened across this place when I undug my DF CD while cleaning out my dump (Desk). Ah, those were some good memories .

I used to go to the Crow's Nest for all my DF level review needs. After it disappeared (or so it seemed), I guess I googled around and found this place.

My brother found this site for me, somewhere around early 2002. I'd already played a couple of custom levels found elsewhere (I think he got them from TACC), and had been working with WDFUSE for a couple of months.
